West Region Young Friends meet Greta Thunberg at Friends House
Growing up in a Quaker Meeting is as big an adventure as finding Quakers as an adult.
We aim to offer our children and young people space to grow, to think, to explore, and to find fellowship. Children are always welcome at our meetings for worship. There is a weekly children’s meeting at Bradford on Avon, and in Bath on the second and fourth Sundays of the month.
We have a Quaker youth development worker for our 11-18 age group and their contemporaries in the Quaker meetings in North Somerset and Bristol, so spanning the area from the Bristol Channel in the west to Devizes in the east. This professional support helps us to provide activities all year round, including participation in national young Quaker events.
